A Huntsville man was arrested on 10 counts of possession of child pornography Tuesday, according to police. 

Huntsville Police say investigators received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children back on Dec. 17,Ìýindicating an individual may be involved in the possession of child sexual abuse material.

During the course of the investigation, investigators identified 29-year-old Benjamin Ryan French as a suspect in the case.

A search warrant was obtained for his residence, and French was detained and interviewed.

Following the interview, French was booked into the Madison County Jail on the previously mentioned child pornography charges. 

This investigation remains ongoing, and police say additional charges are possible as investigators continue to review evidence.
