We've picked up a few scattered showers and storms today, but we're still eyeing the Easter weekend for our next chance of widespread rain.Ìý
Any leftover showers will fade away with the loss of daytime heating this evening. We'll be partly cloudy overnight with lows in the low 60s.
Look for a mix of clouds and sunshine Thursday with just a slim shower chance. Temperatures will warm into the mid 80s for highs. Friday will bring more of the same with highs again in the mid 80s.
The timing of our weekend weather maker appears to be speeding up just a little with the bulk of rain expected Saturday night now. Saturday will likely start dry in the morning. A few early afternoon showers are expected followed by a more widespread rain arriving by early evening. Rain will be steady much of the night and now looks like it will be winding down from west to east early Sunday morning. We'll continue to dry through Sunday afternoon. Rain totals will average around an inch in most spots.
Temperatures will remain warm in the low 80s Saturday, but expect to drop back into the low 60s behind a cold front on Easter Sunday.
Next week brings a stretch of dry weather. After a cool start in the 60s for highs and 40s for lows at the beginning of the week we'll return to near 80 degree weather by Friday.
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy. Lows in the lower 60s. Wind: SE 5 mph.
THURSDAY: Partly cloudy with a slim shower chance. Highs in the mid 80s. Wind: S 10-15 mph.
