A motorcyclist from Florence is dead following a crash in Muscle Shoals Saturday night.聽
According to the Muscle Shoals Police Department, officers were dispatched聽about 10:35 p.m.聽to a wreck involving a car and a motorcycle at the intersection of Wilson Dam Road and Avalon Avenue.
Once MSPD Patrol Officers arrived on scene, MSPD Traffic Homicide investigators were informed of the incident.
MSPD THI arrived on scene and determined a 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis collided with a 2001 Harley Davidson, ridden by 51-year-old Marlos Ritchie Jr.
Police say Ritchie was pronounced dead on scene by Colbert County Coroner Justin Gasque.聽
This fatality is still under investigation by the MSPD THI.聽
