A man is facing multiple child pornography charges in Madison County.
According to Huntsville Police,听29-year-old Brett Edgar Arias is charged with聽10 counts of possession with intent to disseminate child pornography after an investigation.
The arrest comes after officers assigned to the Huntsville Police Department鈥檚 Internet Crimes Against Children Unit received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding the possible possession of child sexual abuse material. Police say officers received the tip Friday.
During the investigation, officers identified Arias as the person of interest.
Officers obtained a search warrant for his residence, which was executed on Tuesday.
Arias was detained for an interview and later booked into the Madison County Jail on bonds totaling $150,000.
