鈥淎 dunk, it lifts the whole building up,鈥 Williams said. 鈥淚 feel like bringing the team together and bringing the energy.鈥澛
His favorite dunk of his career came towards the end of last season鈥檚 ASUN semifinal win over Jacksonville.聽
鈥淚t felt like a dream, how loud it was,鈥 Williams said.聽
Following a career-best 9.8 points per game, the former LSU Tiger could have looked elsewhere. So how did the Lions keep him in Florence? Much like when Williams gets fed inside the paint, UNA got an important assist.聽

After talking over the decision with his mom, Williams knew he wanted to stay with the Lions.聽
鈥淪he鈥檚 a mom that holds me accountable, too,鈥 he said. 鈥淪he likes the coaches who do the same, so she was happy for me to be back.鈥澛
It鈥檚 safe to say that Pujol was pleased when he heard he was returning.聽
鈥淵ou kidding me?鈥 Pujol said. 鈥淚 almost jumped out of my skin.鈥澛
Williams has improved upon last year, scoring 13.8 points per game. He also leads the ASUN in rebounding with 10.4 a contest.聽
