Three people were arrested Thursday after allegedly leading law enforcement on a chase in Morgan County.Â
According to the Morgan County Sheriff's Office, as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation, the Morgan County Sheriff Drug Enforcement Unit initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle on Bird Spring Road in Hartselle.
The sheriff's office says the vehicle failed to stop and attempted to elude law enforcement.
Deputies were able to bring the pursuit to a stop and make the arrests on Fowler Loop Road off Highway 157 near Massey.
The sheriff's office says numerous charges are pending, including drug trafficking and distribution.
Officials have not released the names or exact charges of the three people detained, but ÍÃ×ÓÏÈÉú will provide updates as we receive them.Â
